I will provide updates on it when I am notified of them :D

Thanks for the post and link tompace. I'll review the complaint later. Keep up the good work!

Reviewed, yep, basic boilerplate complaint (since they've done so many all they really need to do is change specific names and amounts.)

So they settled out of court (as usual) and today I, and several other former coworkers, got our checks. OH MY GAWD none of us were expecting this! I, trying to be realistic, was advising people not to expect much, maybe a couple hundred. The lowest was a guy who had worked there about 6-7 months who got $959, there were two girls who worked about 2 years who both got over $5k, and I topped out (4.5 years) at $8,390!!

Sorry to hear it was such a low settlement. But glad that you are happy about it.

Were you a named plaintiff? I cannot remember if you were.

Very. My records suggest that I should have only gotten about a third of it...not that I'm complaining :D

Yeah. You know I don't count depreciation because my vehicle is so old and all...but beyond that, my expenses for last year were only like 375 more than what I had been paid. Previous years would have been even better for cowabunga, because I was using an even older car that was paid off completely and got very good mileage (high 30s in the city). So, yeah, I was expecting 1,000-1,500 :D
