Spring Hill man hurls pizza slice at girlfriend, deputies say ... end-deput/

Published: February 18, 2010

SPRING HILL - A man was arrested Wednesday night after throwing a slice of pizza at his girlfriend while the two were arguing at a grocery store, deputies said.

Shaun Patrick Dolan, 23, was charged with domestic battery following the incident, which took place shortly before 8 p.m. at the Publix at 4158 Mariner Blvd.

The victim was struck on the bridge of her nose and right eye, according to a Hernando County Sheriff's report.

She suffered a cut over her nose and bruising under her eye, deputies said.

Dolan also threatened to kill the victim and told her she would not be taking the children with her, according to the report.

Deputies interviewed the couple's daughter, who confirmed her father hit her mother with the pizza, the report showed.

She had cuts and bruises from a slice of pizza? What kinda toppings were on that thing, anyway? :?:

Personally, if my girlfriend smacked me with a pizza, even when I'm pissed off, I'd probably laugh.

^If my GF ever hit me while we were debating something she can fully expect to get hit back. No reason to take abuse from someone, especially a significant other.

Unless it's in a playful manner ;)

Must have been awfully over cooked crust to cause a cut.
Or frozen pizza...
