i recently received a counterfeit 100 dollar bill.our store i not sure if i can name the store im new but any way we had no training no pens well when i got payed they took it out of my check.is this legal whould like some advise on this. thanks mike newman new member

You can name the store if you want, there is nothing illegal about doing that. And, we can reasonably assume it's Marcos Pizza, since you provided that information on registration.

As far as I know, I am not a lawyer, it would not be legal for them to make that deduction from your pay unless you authorized it in writing. Please see this DOL Fact Sheet.

Did you authorize the deduction in writing? It might also depend on where you live. Some states have better laws protecting the employee. You should educate yourself and get your money back. You should also look for a job elsewhere.

It is as illegal as hell! ANY deduction that results in your pay going below minimum wage is a flat-out violation of federal minimum wage laws. Demand you get the money back in your paycheck or report itto the Department of Labor immediately!
