Snake - A driver who takes runs in a way that benefits him at the expense of others (i.e. skips top runs, leaves known stiffs as singles for others, camps out near the store to avoid being the first back for a bad run)

screwdriver - A driver who messes up things for others (i.e. by blindly taking the top two runs, splitting a good double into two singles, etc)

community service - taking a delivery to a low-income neighborhood. Because it's usually against your will, and you won't be paid for your services.

closer(s) - The last driver(s) to leave the store, performs closing duties (sweep/mop, final dishes, general cleaning)

late driver - The second to last driver to leave the store, usually does late dishes.

late dishes - Everything non-essential to making basic pizzas (i.e. extra cutters, catch trays/pits & grates, side item dockers/cutters, portion cups, etc) is washed.

bank - an assortment of $5s and $1s (usually $15 or $20) for providing customers with change

in the back office doing "paperwork" - taking a dump

At PJ's we call them "bad orders". I have never heard that term used widely. Anybody else call them "bring backs"?

At JJ's bad order is one that is not up to par in the customers eyes , bring back is one where the customer does not answer door or phone. I've noticed that the terms change with region and company.

Out of area/ range

O to C ( open to closer)

Shafter (same as Snake)

First out (closing driver who gets to go home first)

In Shop pay ( actual min wage, what the in shop people get)

Router (one who just routes orders)

The 5 D's ( Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive and Dodge.. I've worked at 3 busy delivery stores with very busy shop, 5 D's are pretty much what have to do to make it from one end of the store to the other)
