I have a definition but not sure if I can quite place a family friendly term at the beginning.

(...........) the car you see nosing into traffic 150 yards away that waits until you are 20 feet from them to pull into traffic, resulting in you catching the next 6 lights.

The "waters" can vary from time to time, day to day, second to second. Depth, temperature, visibility, and habitation cannot be determined until after you have dived in. Even diving in will not give you an accurate result, as each of the variables previously referenced can and will change from day to day, second to second.

Slice Pie - A pizza that is sold by the slice to customers

On the Fly - Term used when a driver has cashed out, but one more order pops up on the screen. The driver will pay out of pocket for the order and do the delivery off the clock on their way home.

When I was a closer I did that many times, but only voluntarily. 8-)
